A Night of Unity and Celebration
Last February 15, 2025, the Gullas College of Medicine, Inc. hosted the 75th Indo-Philippine Cultural Exchange Summit Gala.
This is my first time attending a GCM event as the school’s Marketing Consultant; my first was when I paraded during one of the graduation rites in 2024; and with excitement, I did not hesitate to have my Sherwani attire tailored by a fashion designer, my friend Rabbie.
The event was nothing short of spectacular, filled with moments of camaraderie, cultural appreciation, and an overwhelming sense of achievement. Organizing this grand occasion was both a challenge and an honor, but we made it—and what a night it was!
A Labor of Love and Dedication
We planned this event last November 2014, however, due to the upcoming holiday and PAASCU accreditation of the school, it was just at the 1st week of February that we seriously started working for this grand event. Whoa!
It was first given to the CEO’s office to work with, but was passed down to us, and to Doc Samantha Tan, who I so love working with. I love her aura! (Doc Sam is the one in blue – such a goddess in that dress!)
From conceptualizing the theme to executing every intricate detail, thanks to the GCM team and, of course, Sir Danny Villarante of Danny’s Entertainment for pouring their heart and soul into ensuring the night would be one to remember.
The journey may have been demanding, but seeing everything fall into place was truly fulfilling. The dazzling decorations, the exquisite performances, and the warm gathering of esteemed guests made all the hard work worthwhile.
A Star-Studded Affair
The summit gala was graced by VIPs, dignitaries, and cultural ambassadors. Their presence underscored the significance of our shared cultural heritage and the enduring friendship between our nations. The atmosphere was electric with the exchange of ideas, laughter, and mutual appreciation, reinforcing the importance of fostering international ties through culture and tradition.
The program was a vibrant showcase of Indo-Philippine traditions, featuring mesmerizing dance performances, soul-stirring musical renditions, and thought-provoking speeches. Every segment of the night was a testament to the rich cultural tapestry that binds our two countries.
As we look back at this historic event, we do so with immense gratitude. To everyone who played a role—our hardworking team, dedicated performers and enthusiastic attendees—thank you for making the 75th Indo-Philippine Cultural Exchange Summit Gala a resounding success.
We have once again proven that when passion meets purpose, magic happens. This event was not just a celebration of our cultural ties but also a reaffirmation of the strong bond between India and the Philippines. With this success behind us, we eagerly anticipate more milestones ahead, continuing our mission of cultural unity and global friendship.
Here’s to more years of collaboration, celebration, and cultural exchange. We did it!
